About the Role

A Clinical Office Administrator is required to provide administrative support to the Haematology Clinical Team at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Haematology Clinical Team
  • Organise workload with Haematology Consultants and co-ordinate activities with Clinical Office Coordinators
  • Exercise initiative and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Complete duties within the Haematology Day Unit

Person Specification

Essential

  • English GCSE Grade C or equivalent
  • Previous administration experience
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Able to use initiative and judgement in daily tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • NHS experience
  • Experience using Surrey Safe Care
