About the Role
A Clinical Office Administrator is required to provide administrative support to the Haematology Clinical Team at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Haematology Clinical Team
- Organise workload with Haematology Consultants and co-ordinate activities with Clinical Office Coordinators
- Exercise initiative and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Complete duties within the Haematology Day Unit
Person Specification
Essential
- English GCSE Grade C or equivalent
- Previous administration experience
- Ability to deal with sensitive information
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Able to use initiative and judgement in daily tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
- NHS experience
- Experience using Surrey Safe Care
