Railway Engineering Team Leader

As a Technical Operations Manager at Story Contracting, you will deliver reliable and proficient technical guidance and assistance to the project teams across our diverse portfolio of projects. Your background in the railway sector will be essential, along with your technical expertise in one of the primary disciplines where Story Contracting executes the majority of its projects. A comprehensive understanding of other disciplines will also be beneficial for managing inter-disciplinary interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized knowledge in a specific railway system discipline, such as building services, low voltage/small power, telecommunications, or signaling.
- Fulfill the responsibilities of the Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) or Designated Project Engineer (DPE) in accordance with relevant standards on a project-specific basis throughout the project lifecycle.
- Enhance the capability of the Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) within Story Contracting by offering Continuous Professional Development, mentorship, and guidance to aspiring candidates.
- Act as the primary lead for key account management (KAM) of suppliers in your area of expertise, while providing support to the operational and engineering delivery teams on projects.
