Engineering Manager

As a key member of our team at Story Contracting, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to our project teams. Your experience in the railway industry and knowledge of Network Rail Standards will be essential in ensuring the safe management of design, development, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide subject matter expertise in a specialist railway system discipline, including building services, LV/small power, telecommunications, or signalling.
- Discharge the duties of Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) or Designated Project Engineer (DPE) in accordance with NR/L2/RSE/02009 on behalf of Story Contracting.
- Develop Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) capability within Story Contracting by providing Continuous Professional Development, mentorship, and guidance to candidates.
- Be the main lead for key account management (KAM) of suppliers in their discipline expertise and provide support to the project operational and engineering delivery teams.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will preferably hold a degree in a relevant discipline of engineering and be a member of a suitable professional institution.
