Job Title: Engineering Manager

As a key member of the Story Contracting team, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to our project teams. Your experience in the railway industry and knowledge of Network Rail Standards will be essential in delivering projects to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise in a specialist railway system discipline.
  • Discharge the duties of Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) or Designated Project Engineer (DPE) in accordance with NR/L2/RSE/02009.
  • Develop Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) capability within Story Contracting.
  • Be the main lead for key account management (KAM) of suppliers in their discipline expertise.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant discipline of engineering.
  • Membership of a suitable professional institution.
  • Good understanding of current safety legislation.
  • Ability to contribute to the safe management of design, development, and construction.
