This is a full-time, office-based permanent position at EVO.

Summary of role:

The Sales Team Leader will deliver a high level of service to all potential and existing customers while increasing sales, product lines, profitability, and developing long-term business relationships. In addition to developing new business and maximizing sales through proactive telesales calls.

Key activities will include developing the team to generate new business (prospecting/switch activities), customer development (activation/retention/contracts/terms), increase 'share of wallet' (preferred supplier/maximize spend), marketing support (outbound promotions/maximize take-up).

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:


• Supporting the team to identify opportunities to quote and send the same day.


• Providing support to the team so we can increase the product range sold into each customer.


• Understanding and fully utilizing the sales tools provided to maximize the full potential and spend of each customer.


• Achieving an initial gross profit margin.


• Achieving increased sales of an agreed percentage on existing customers.


• Ensuring all computerized records are kept up to date.


• Setting and monitoring weekly and monthly objectives.


• Actively supporting all marketing campaigns/outbound promotions by maximizing take-up where possible through analysis.

Skills, knowledge, and qualities required:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:


• 2 years' experience in a similar role would be beneficial.


• Proficient in accurately pricing, maximizing profitability while protecting GP%.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel).


• The ability to multitask, be organized, agree priorities, and meet deadlines.


• The ability to adapt to change.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Sound knowledge of customer base, customer needs, and sales cycle an advantage.


• Excellent knowledge of product, competitor, and dealer network desirable.
