About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager - Liquid Waste Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of recruitment, interim management, and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and drive profitable new business growth through exploring the potential market to collect and transport waste liquid.
  • Develop and manage a detailed new business pipeline capable of providing a clear business forecast of expected volumes and over-achieving on targeted new business sales revenues.
  • Produce reports to give visibility of current activity and forecast new activity.
  • Work closely with the General Manager tankers to drive a growth strategy aligned with the needs of the business.
  • Maintain accurate data within the CRM platform.
  • Liaise regularly with other commercial functions to share pipelines and best practice.
Requirements
  • General knowledge of the waste sector and ideally experience of selling Liquid Waste services.
  • Experience of successfully developing, managing, and implementing new business services.
  • Good presentation, selling, negotiating, and influential skills.
  • Analytical and able to quickly assess issues and recommend and/or implement solutions.
  • Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively.
  • Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targets.
