Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the pre-construction phases of our projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive pre-construction plans, working closely with our project management, design, commercial, and engineering teams.
  • Provide expert management skills in work planning, engineering design, procurement, resource allocation, client and regulatory approvals, and dispute resolution for the pre-construction phases of our projects.
  • Lead all client interface activities and ownership of deliverables in relation to the pre-construction scopes of work.
  • Ensure a high standard of health and safety is maintained throughout our projects, collaborating with our EHS department.
  • Manage stakeholders and subcontractors, and communicate detailed project updates to our clients and internal organization.
  • Obtain necessary legal consents and ensure contractual agreements and regulatory compliances are adhered to throughout our projects, mitigating any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of management experience within the UK renewable energy industry or construction industry.
  • Experience working on EV projects or similar is highly desirable.
  • Project Management related qualification or training is an asset, such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMI.
  • Proven experience in pre-construction stakeholder management, commercial management, and client interfacing.
