About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Producer to join our team at Bauer Media Group. As a key member of our digital content team, you will be responsible for creating and curating engaging social media content that drives audience growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our on-air team to develop and implement social media strategies that align with our brand goals.
  • Plan and create high-quality social media content, including videos, graphics, and written posts, that resonates with our audience.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behaviors, and platform updates to ensure our social media presence remains current and effective.
  • Engage with our audience across all social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage our social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
  • Support the Head of Social in day-to-day planning and wider projects, and deputize for them during leave.
  • Work with our wider network team on station initiatives and commercial projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media content creation and management, with a strong understanding of the digital landscape.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
  • Confident in presenting ideas and approaching challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Ability to film content using Canon or Sony video cameras is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of contemporary and classic rock and indie music is a must.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Passion for radio, music, and comedy.
