Senior Social Media Content Creator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Media Content Creator to join our team at Bauer Media Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to create engaging digital content for one of the UK's leading media companies. As a Senior Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for planning and creating high-quality social media content that reflects the brand's tone and style.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Dave Berry Breakfast Show team to generate creative social media ideas and content that resonates with our audience.
- Develop and produce engaging social media content, including social videos, graphics, photos, and written posts, tailored to Bauer Media Group's audience.
- Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behaviors, and platform updates to keep our social media presence current and effective.
- Engage with Bauer Media Group's audience across all social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage Bauer Media Group's social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Support the Head of Social in day-to-day planning and wider projects, and deputize for them during leave.
- Work with the wider Bauer Media Group network team on station initiatives and commercial projects.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure all content aligns with Bauer Media Group's brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and style.
- An experienced social media professional with an excellent understanding of the digital landscape, particularly the creation of engaging, optimized content for various platforms.
- Comfortable shooting and filming content on mobile, as well as confident in directing and briefing presenters, guests, and other team members where necessary.
- Confident in presenting ideas and approaching challenges with a positive attitude.
- Proactive, collaborative, and organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and experience in planning and scheduling content across them.
- Highly proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and apps like CapCut.
- Ability to film content using Canon or Sony video cameras is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to design social thumbnails and graphics using Adobe Photoshop.
- Confident social copywriter who can write in the Bauer Media Group tone of voice.
- Knowledge of contemporary and classic rock and indie music is a must.
- Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
- Passion for radio, music, and comedy.
