About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our Integrated Discharge Team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall improvement of Discharge Services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the smooth operation of patient care services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and comprehensive data, including spreadsheets and reports, to support the Integrated Discharge Team's work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools to support the team's work.
  • Attend daily triage meetings and update the Sit Rep, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.
  • Monitor and track patient referrals, ensuring efficient and effective management of the discharge process.
Requirements
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy, with GCSE level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in administrative roles, with a strong background in data management and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
