Position: Freight Sales Executive
Location: South East (Remote)
Salary: Up to £40,000

Overview:
Our client, a prominent international freight forwarding company, is seeking a dedicated Freight Sales Executive to oversee operations in the South East region of England. This role necessitates regular travel throughout the southern area, thus a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential. Occasional visits to the office in Basildon will also be required.

Compensation Package:
- Basic salary of up to £40,000
- 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (with potential increase up to 5 additional days)
- Car allowance of £5,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain focus and determination to meet sales targets.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities while thoroughly understanding new businesses to provide tailored freight and customs support.
- Represent the organization positively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively seek new business opportunities.
- Manage and track the CRM system, ensuring effective communication with existing clients and following up with potential customers.
- Exhibit a proven track record in developing and enhancing client portfolios.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and overseas agents.
- Demonstrate strong technical selling skills and comprehensive product knowledge.
- Exhibit excellent communication abilities, including negotiation and influence skills when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience within the freight sector.
- Knowledge and experience in Import/Export multi-modal operations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with general PC skills.
- Solid understanding of logistics processes and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work remotely.
- Must possess the right to work in the UK.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
