Contract Manager - Drainage-Plumbing

Hawkes Resourcing Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Manager to lead our drainage and plumbing projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing contracts, building strong client relationships, and driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage contracts for a variety of drainage and plumbing projects, including PPMS, remedials, and pump operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer retention and identifying opportunities for new business growth.
  • Collaborate with the office and engineering teams to run projects, address on-site queries, and troubleshoot challenges with job-related RAMS.
  • Provide quotes for works, conduct site visits, and meet with clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Handle client concerns or complaints swiftly and professionally, keeping senior management informed at all times.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Commercial acumen to spot new business opportunities and push for growth with existing customers.
  • Organized and flexible approach to manage workload demands and occasional extra hours.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: £48k-£52k per annum, depending on experience.
  • Bonus scheme: £1k per quarter + £1k per annum for meeting team financial targets.
  • New account bonus: 3% of profits for the first year of new accounts, reducing to 1% in following years.
  • Holiday entitlement: 25 days annual leave, plus an additional day for every 2 years of service (capped at 5 extra days).
  • Company car and fuel card for all travel expenses.
