The Opportunity: Payments Architect
Within this dynamic environment, we seek a skilled Payments Architect to join our Business Solutions function. As part of a global team of Business Architects, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining payment solutions that seamlessly align with business needs and the overarching architecture strategy for the product. Your expertise will bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical experts specializing in corporate payment methods.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of payments applications, systems, and infrastructure within the Outsourcing Line of Business (LOB).
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and development teams to communicate technical solutions.
- Manage the business architectural review stage for proposed new payment initiatives, ensuring timely completion.
- Stay abreast of business strategy and industry trends, integrating these insights into the Payments Business architectural principles aligned with WTW's vision.
- Continuously identify opportunities to strengthen the business architecture principles.
- Produce logical systems design models in conjunction with Senior Systems Analysts/System Architects, where appropriate.
- Promote maintainability, quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility within the business architecture principles.
- Work closely with Lead Business & Systems Analysts and payments/payroll teams to ensure requirements are gathered in line with generic business architectural principles.
- Drive and maintain the payments product roadmap, prioritizing benefits to the business.
- Convincingly present high-level solutions to end users and stakeholders through clear proposals.
- Demonstrate a capacity for quickly grasping new concepts and understanding the implications of technical issues on business requirements and operations.
- Pursue continuous growth related to the business domain within the respective line of business.
- Foster a collaborative environment where team members self-organize and apply cross-functional competencies to create high-value products.
