About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Business Solutions function as a Business Architect - Payments. As part of a global team of Business Architects, you will be responsible for ensuring that we successfully design and maintain payments solutions that align with business needs and architecture strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Payments applications, systems, and infrastructure across the Outsourcing Line of Business (LOB).
- Communicate with key stakeholders and development teams on technical solutions.
- Manage the business architectural review stage of proposed new payments initiatives in a timely fashion.
- Apply business strategy and industry direction to Payments Business architectural principles aligned with WTW's Vision.
- Continually assess opportunities to strengthen the business architecture principles.
- Produce logical systems design models where appropriate in conjunction with Senior Systems Analyst/System Architect.
- Promote maintainability, quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility within the business architecture principles.
- Work closely with Lead Business & Systems Analysts and our payments/payroll teams to ensure that requirements are gathered in line with the generic business architectural principles.
- Drive and maintain the payments product roadmap, ensuring benefits to the business are at the forefront of considerations.
- Manage the business architectural review stage of proposed new initiatives in a timely fashion.
- Present proposals by way of high-level solutions to end users and/or stakeholders.
- Grasp new concepts quickly, demonstrating understanding of the implications of technical issues on business requirements and/or operations.
- Pursue continual growth related to the business domain within the respective line of business.
- Support team members in self-organizing and applying cross-functional competencies to create high-value products.
This role requires a passion for technical design, development, problem-solving, and the ability to learn new concepts quickly. You will be joining a large team with diverse skills and experience, and the job requires a motivated professional who is experienced in taking responsibility and independently delivering results on both a generic product level and client-specific projects.
