Job Title: Cladding and Facades Systems Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Cladding and Facades Systems department. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including preparing and submitting payment applications, valuations, and variations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure that projects are being completed in accordance with the contract.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting project progress, financial performance, and any potential issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex construction projects, including cladding and facades systems.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT Design & Build and NEC3.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
