Job Summary:
Mitchell Maguire is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Cladding and Facades Systems department. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Prepare and submit payment applications, valuations, and other financial reports as required.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other construction professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 3 years' experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the UK building envelope market sector.
- Experience working with a range of cladding and façade systems.
- Strong understanding of subcontracts, including JCT Design & Build and NEC3.
- Full UK driving license.
- Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent qualification.
- High levels of organization, enthusiasm, and team play.
