Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Cladding & Facades Systems

Job Summary:

Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Management Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Management Jobs, Construction Management Vacancies and Specification Management Positions within the construction industry.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team as a Cladding and Facades Systems Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with a focus on cladding and facades systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of monthly valuations, ensuring accurate and timely submission to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and manage payment applications, ensuring accurate and timely submission to clients.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on cladding and facades systems.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, including JCT Design & Build and NEC3.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving license.
