The Faculty of Health is dedicated to addressing health disparities, social exclusion, and deprivation through comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate programs, alongside a growing array of international collaborations and student opportunities. Within this faculty, the School of Nursing and Advanced Practice has been established to intensify the focus on both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education as well as advanced multidisciplinary practice. With a rich history in nursing education, the School is recognized for its exceptional graduates and researchers, alongside a continually expanding portfolio of local, regional, and national programs. The School plays a pivotal role in shaping the Advanced Practice agenda and is instrumental in developing the future health workforce.

We are currently in search of an exceptional candidate for the role of Principal Lecturer in Postgraduate Nursing, offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Subject Head of Post Graduate Nursing and Advanced Practice, you will collaborate with Programme Leaders to enhance our educational offerings and responsive curricula. Your leadership will be vital in curriculum development and the enhancement of our program portfolio, as well as in managing academic staff involved in teaching, research, and enterprise.

Responsibilities will include ensuring sustained student retention, delivering an effective curriculum, facilitating supported progression, and achieving positive outcomes for our students.
