Senior Lecturer in Biology Position at LSTM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer in Biology to join our team at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM). The successful candidate will have a strong background in vector biology and a proven track record of research leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead internationally excellent research in vector-borne disease ecology and control.
- Enhance the reputation and profile of LSTM in vector biology research, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
- Develop a comprehensive research program and maintain a strong track record of published research findings.
- Oversee the general teaching and learning strategy within the academic field of vector biology.
Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
- Established international reputation in an academic field.
- Proven experience in research leadership within a Higher Education Institution (HEI).
- Experience developing multidisciplinary research programs, including collaboration with academia, industry, and government health organizations.
