We are seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll functions within Compressor Products International.

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing, processing, and executing the daily payroll operations for all UK entities. This role involves ensuring best practices in standardizing current processes and identifying areas for improvement to maintain consistency across all payrolls.

This is a permanent position with a standard workweek of 37 hours. We provide a hybrid working model that allows for a blend of remote work and collaborative time in our modern offices, which feature complimentary onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage comprehensive payroll services for UK-based Compressor Products International companies, including:
  • Processing all weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Handling tax and pension submissions
  • Managing payroll-related payments to external entities
  • Maintaining PAYE Settlement Agreements
  • Conducting monthly reconciliations of payroll control accounts
  • Calculating holiday pay
  • Providing support to our shared service center
  • Collaborating with the UK HR team to enhance processes for uniformity across payrolls
Implement necessary changes to the payroll structure as dictated by business needsAssist the UK HR Team with additional support as requiredPossess a recognized payroll qualification, such as a Diploma in Payroll Supervision or equivalent experienceDemonstrate the ability to work independently while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholdersExhibit proficiency in Sage 50 Payroll for WindowsHave experience managing all aspects of payroll functionsEffectively manage workload to meet tight deadlinesPossess extensive knowledge of payroll legislationShowcase experience in delivering process improvementsMaintain intermediate proficiency in MS Office, particularly ExcelExhibit exceptional communication skills
