About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pensions Administrator to join our dynamic administration team in Glasgow. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality administration services to our clients and members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update member records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process member events, including retirements, deaths, early leavers, transfers in, transfers out, and illustrative quotations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on non-standard cases.
  • Escalate complex technical queries and issues to the Team Leader and technical support team members.
  • Deliver a consistent and efficient service to internal and external clients/members, meeting predetermined service levels.
  • Assist the Principal Administrator and Team Leader in improving operational efficiencies.
  • Support with annual and periodic scheme events.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in day-to-day pension administration, including DB, DC, and CARE pension arrangements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant pension legislation, technical developments, and industry best practice.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, plan workload effectively, and communicate clearly with clients and members.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Pensions Administration systems, such as UPM or similar, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Client care or customer services experience, including telephone liaison.
