Starting Salary: £25,480 (includes one sleep-in shift per week). We are seeking a Full-Time Support Worker for our Supported Living Scheme. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to provide 24-hour assistance to adults facing intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges across three distinct services.

Our Supported Living team is committed to empowering our residents in their daily activities, enabling them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

As a Support Worker, your role will involve:

  • Advocating for residents' rights and self-expression
  • Addressing emotional and communication needs
  • Assisting with daily living skills, including budgeting, shopping, laundry, cooking, and cleaning
  • Facilitating community engagement through appointments and social events
  • Creating enjoyable experiences through laughter and fun

Whether you are helping a resident with grocery shopping or meal preparation, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in attention to detail and interpersonal communication.

  • Care Certificate (not mandatory)
  • Previous experience assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviors (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving License (preferred but not essential)

We are looking for individuals with positive attitudes, flexibility, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Support Worker Shifts:

This role is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours per week with a mix of early and late shifts, including some weekends and bank holidays. Sleep-in shifts are also part of the role, compensated at a rate of £67.50 per night.
