Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our hospice team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to patients under the guidance of registered nurses. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks designed to enhance patient well-being and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses in delivering personalized care plans, ensuring each patient's individual needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and promptly communicate any changes or concerns to the responsible nurse.
  • Develop strong rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding throughout their hospice journey.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health Care is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a care setting is required.
