We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our team at Northampton General Hospital. As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operating theatres, working closely with scrub practitioners and other theatre staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a high standard of care to patients during their peri-operative phase of care
- Assess the immediate and ongoing needs of patients and develop individualised plans of care
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet the needs of patients and their families/carers
- Contribute to the development of a culture that is committed to innovation and quality improvement through the use of research and audit
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of equipment used in the Units and report any faults to the appropriate person
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
- Recognised anaesthetic qualification
- Previous experience in Anaesthetics
- Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
