Operating Department Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our theatre team at Northampton General Hospital. As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operating theatres, working closely with scrub practitioners and other theatre staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of equipment used in the units and report any faults to the appropriate person
- Actively contribute to setting and maintaining high standards of quality care
- Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families/carers
- Assist in the management and organisation of the theatre area
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
- Recognised anaesthetic qualification
- Previous experience in Anaesthetics
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
