Imaging Engineer

Tiger Resourcing Group is in search of a proficient Imaging Engineer to contribute to the Hardware Platform division. The role encompasses the selection of imaging hardware components, their integration into systems, and the execution of low-level image preprocessing tasks. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team to create tailored hardware platforms and requires close interaction with Software Algorithms/ML and Systems teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specify optics and choose image sensors/modules
  • Integrate components into bespoke hardware platforms
  • Develop low-level device drivers
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Investigate cutting-edge imaging solutions

Required Skills and Experience

  • In-depth experience with CMOS image sensors
  • Comprehension of image processing parameters
  • Expertise in IR illuminated imaging
  • Proficiency in low-level interfacing protocols such as MIPI CSI2, USB, GigE, and SLVS
  • Experience with video-based applications in C/C++
  • Research into the latest advancements in image sensor and lens technology
  • Fundamental knowledge of electronics

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Linux kernel media stacks and vendor imaging stacks
  • Experience with video streaming protocols
  • Knowledge of image signal processing across various hardware platforms
  • Understanding of software version control using tools like Git and SVN
  • Background in photography
