Finchetto is seeking an experienced Principal Photonic Engineer to join its team. As Principal Photonic Engineer at Finchetto, you will play a crucial role in designing, prototyping, and testing fibre optic systems and subsystems for our revolutionary all-optical network switch. Working within a dynamic team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge products that will shape the future of networking.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop fibre optic systems and subsystems for Finchetto's all-optical network switch.
  • Participate in prototype build and testing phases, optimising performance and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and validation of photonic designs to meet performance, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to convey technical insights and project progress.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Solid understanding of photonic principles and fibre optic technologies.
