We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Support Assistant to join our team at Dorset Council. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students in our schools, providing individualized attention and assistance to those who require it.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic support to students who require additional help, both in the classroom and through targeted interventions.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of educational programs, including lesson planning and preparation.
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for future support.

- Qualifications in Education or a related field (e.g., teaching assistant, special education assistant).
