Learning and Development Advisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Professional Development and Clinical Education Team as a Learning and Development Advisor. This is a part-time position of 22.5 hours/3 days per week, with flexible working arrangements to accommodate the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the smooth running of Dysphagia training in various settings across Dorset, including office-based, Trust training venues, and external locations.
- Support the Dysphagia trainer in the classroom, preparing food and thickening agents as required.
- Be responsible for the maintenance and transportation of training equipment.
- Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working effectively with staff, external agencies, and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support for Learning & Development projects, utilizing MS Office applications, with a focus on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Minimum of 5 GCSE (L2) Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and resolve queries with staff at all levels.
- Previous experience of working within defined administrative procedures and a strong commitment to delivering a customer-focused service.
- Ability to use own initiative within the sphere of responsibility and work independently.
- Knowledge of Dysphagia and the use of the IDDSI Framework.
