Fire Safety Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Fire Safety team as a Fire Safety Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring public safety by providing advice, support, and guidance to business owners to help them understand and comply with Fire Safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside experienced Fire Safety Inspectors to develop the skills and knowledge to audit compliance of fire safety legislation within non-domestic premises
  • Provide advice and support to business owners to help them understand and comply with Fire Safety legislation
  • Gain the confidence and qualifications to carry out audits and enforce Fire Safety legislation
Requirements:
  • Flexibility and ability to respond positively to change
  • Continuous learning and professional development throughout your career
  • Approachable and professional individual who excels at building positive relationships and maintaining high standards of conduct and communication
  • 4 GCSE passes - Grade A*- C / 9 - 4, including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification (including L2 functional skills), or higher-level relevant qualification
  • Ability to work towards Fire Safety qualifications (Level 4 Fire Safety Diploma) within an agreed timeframe
  • Basic understanding of current Fire Safety legislation including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (including Outlook) and database packages
