Learning Support Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Mentor to join our team at GSL Education. As a Learning Support Mentor, you will provide personalized support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them navigate their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, adjusting your methods to fit their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create effective learning strategies that motivate and engage students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, keeping open communication with educators to ensure learning goals are met.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves.
  • Assist students in building social skills and developing confidence in their abilities.
  • Support classroom management to maintain a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with SEN is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively connect with students and collaborate with staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in various situations.
