Position Overview: Combined Mechanical and Electrical Inspector

Legal Entity: Fives Landis Ltd.

As a key player in our organization, you will be instrumental in overseeing the quality of our fully assembled machines. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire process from handover to 'power up', testing, adjustment, and ultimately ensuring successful machine shipment. You will also be tasked with installation and service duties at customer sites.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Inspection team under the guidance of the Head of Product Quality.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Utilize your expertise in machine tools and soft PLC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Travel as necessary to support service and aftermarket operations.
  • Adapt to varying work schedules, including shifts and overtime as required.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a qualification of NVQ Level 3, HNC, or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A technical background in mechanical engineering is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided. Familiarity with grinding processes and machine tools is essential.
