Position Overview: Combined Mechanical and Electrical Inspector

As a part of Fives Landis Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the lifecycle of our projects, from inception to completion. We are looking for a Combined Mechanical and Electrical Inspector who shares our vision of proving that industry can indeed make a difference.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the transition of fully assembled machines from handover through to testing and adjustments prior to shipment.
  • Conducting on-site installations and service duties as required.
  • Collaborating with the Inspection team under the guidance of the Head of Product Quality.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ Level 3, HNC, or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A technical or engineering qualification in mechanical disciplines is advantageous.
  • Experience with grinding processes and machine tools.
  • Familiarity with Soft PLC to IEC61131 and understanding of Field Bus systems such as Profinet and Profibus.
  • A willingness to travel for service and aftermarket responsibilities.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including the potential for shift work and overtime.
