Job Responsibilities

As a Combined Mechanical and Electrical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our machines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the transition of fully assembled machines from handover through power-up, testing, and adjustments until shipment.
  • Conducting installations and service duties at customer sites.
  • Collaborating with the Inspection team under the guidance of the Head of Product Quality.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • NVQ Level 3, HNC, or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A relevant technical or engineering qualification in mechanical disciplines is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of grinding processes and machine tools is essential, with training provided for specific areas.
  • Experience with Soft PLC to IEC61131 and familiarity with Field Bus systems such as Profinet and Profibus.
  • A willingness to travel for service and aftermarket responsibilities as needed.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including potential shifts and overtime.
