Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Sales and Marketing Director to lead our ambitious growth targets across the UK and European markets. This role involves overseeing sales, education, visual merchandising, retail, supply, and planning teams to drive brand success and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Growth: Propel the business towards ambitious targets while safeguarding brand equity and ensuring top-tier execution across all initiatives.
  • Foster Innovation: Infuse innovation and creativity to maintain a competitive edge in the fragrance industry.
  • Cultivate Market Intelligence: Develop and sustain in-depth competitive intelligence and customer insights specific to the UK and European fragrance market.
  • Align with Global Strategy: Collaborate with marketing counterparts in global commercial/Dubai to ensure alignment with the global brand strategy.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer strategic insights to the global centre on product development, promotional marketing, pricing strategies, and comprehensive 360-degree activations.
  • Collaborate on Promotions: Work closely with sales & trade teams to execute promotional strategies and lead presentations to major retail partners.
  • Partner for Operational Excellence: Collaborate with finance, sales, and planning teams to develop forecasts and manage inventory for regular, promotional, and sample products.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Guide cross-functional teamwork across visual merchandising, events, education, e-commerce, retail, and media to ensure cohesive business efforts.
  • Refine Forecasting: Conduct monthly analyses and refinements of shipment forecasts to align with business goals.
  • Coordinate Product Launches: Forecast quantities for new fragrances and line extensions, managing and coordinating launch execution with sales, creative, trade, and education teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 Years of Experience: In sales and marketing roles within the beauty or fragrance industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Achieving growth targets and managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Strong Strategic Planning: And execution skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable initiatives.
  • Excellent Leadership: And team management skills, with a focus on talent development and influence indirect teams.
  • Outstanding Communication: And negotiation skills.
  • Deep Understanding: Of the UK and European fragrance market dynamics and consumer preferences.
  • Willingness to Travel: As required to support business objectives.
