POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to fill the role of Corporate Sales Manager, focusing on our Fragrance UK portfolio. This pivotal position will be integral to our Fragrance UK sales hub, responsible for generating corporate business for our independent hotels throughout the UK. We are in search of a vibrant, sales-oriented professional capable of expanding and nurturing both local and national business opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve Corporate Segment Objectives: Take charge of meeting corporate segment targets across our hotel properties.
  • Manage Key Corporate Accounts: Develop and sustain corporate transient and group business, ensuring optimal revenue generation.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Effectively market all facets of our portfolio within local and national markets.
  • Enhance Share and Profitability: Secure new business opportunities while maximizing profitability from existing accounts.
  • Boost Inquiries: Stimulate and increase inquiries for corporate transient, group, and meeting events.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and pursue new and exciting business opportunities.

YOUR DAILY ACTIVITIES

  • Represent the portfolio to key agents, local corporations, and meeting planners.
  • Identify, secure, and formalize new and repeat business across all market segments, with a focus on the corporate sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the RBH central sales team to maximize revenue from key national accounts.
  • Utilize RBH sales strategies and tools to integrate them into the commercial approach.
  • Research potential accounts, conduct introductory outreach, schedule appointments, and perform regular face-to-face sales meetings in accordance with KPIs.
  • Develop account management plans to ensure maximum revenue from each account with support from the Fragrance Sales Team and RBH.
  • Participate in major travel events and exhibitions to promote the portfolio.
  • Assist hotel General Managers with property tours, proposals, and upselling initiatives.
  • Support the Fragrance Sales Team with trade shows, showcases, and client events across the UK.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sales Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a hotel sales or relevant sales position.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional sales, customer service, account management, and negotiation abilities.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong skills in presenting and influencing.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect and engage with diverse individuals.
  • Innovative Mindset: Open to new ideas and creative approaches.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK for presentations, client meetings, and trade events.
  • Familiarity with PMS and CRM systems is preferred (training will be provided), along with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for presentations.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a candidate ideally located in the Manchester area, with the ability to travel as needed to key clients and national accounts. The Corporate Sales Manager is expected to have a presence at our RBH property in Manchester on a weekly basis and be prepared for regular travel.
