Job Title: Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to lead our West Kent South OT Team. As a key member of our Occupational Therapy Service, you will play a vital role in supporting our workforce to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a large Occupational Therapy team, comprising of OTs, OT Assessment Officers, and OT Apprentices.
  • Supervise and develop both qualified and unqualified staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent services.
  • Manage complex casework, including major adaptations and specialist equipment, and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Work closely with the West Kent Operational OT Manager to oversee the team's workload and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to ensure good outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Wide-ranging post-qualifying experience across health and/or social care.
  • Experience of supervising and developing staff, as well as managing complex casework.
  • Sound risk management and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in partnership with others.

What We Offer:

  • Starting salary of £43,810.
  • Recruitment payment of £3000 (subject to eligibility).
