Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist

Are you a motivated and dynamic Occupational Therapist looking to develop your leadership skills and support our Occupational Therapy workforce to excel?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to lead our West Kent South OT Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day supervision and oversight of a large Occupational Therapy team, comprising of OTs, OT Assessment Officers, and OT Apprentices.
As a successful candidate, you will have wide-ranging post-qualifying experience across health and/or social care, with the ability to manage complex casework and experience of major adaptations and specialist equipment. You will work closely with the West Kent Operational OT Manager to oversee the team's workload and performance, utilizing sound risk management and clinical decision-making skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and developing both qualified and unqualified staff
- Communicating effectively, negotiating, and working in partnership with others to ensure good outcomes
- Managing complex casework and experience of major adaptations and specialist equipment
We offer a competitive starting salary of £43,810, a recruitment payment of £3000 (subject to eligibility), and a comprehensive professional learning and development programme. You will also have access to a minimum of 5 days training each year and an excellent Government pension scheme.
