Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to lead our West Kent South OT Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Occupational Therapy workforce to deliver exceptional services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the West Kent South OT Team, providing day-to-day supervision and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Manage complex casework, including major adaptations and specialist equipment, with a focus on risk management and clinical decision-making.
  • Supervise and develop both qualified and unqualified staff, promoting their growth and development within the team.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Health and Housing, to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of the OT Service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
  • Post-qualifying experience in Occupational Therapy, with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound risk management and clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex casework.
  • Experience of supervising and developing staff, with a focus on promoting their growth and development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services.
