Deputy Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Team Manager to join our Family Safeguarding Service in Luton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality children's social services, focused on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, support, and safeguard children at risk of harm, working in a multi-disciplinary team that engages family members and professionals from the outset.
- Manage day-to-day tasks such as assessments, care planning, and child protection with a primary goal of preventing family separation wherever possible.
- Help children reach their potential by prioritizing their welfare and recommending interventions as needed.
- Lead, motivate, and coach the team to maintain high standards of social work practice, supporting team members in their professional growth and ensuring effective outcomes for children.
- Dip SW, CQSW, or recognised equivalent.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Substantial professional social work experience.
