We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Mpac Lambert. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in the electrical build, wiring, and electrical testing of special purpose automation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and test electrical systems to meet Mpac Lambert's quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Work closely with Senior Electrical Technicians, Supervisors, and Managers to resolve issues and deliver projects effectively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and participate in machine site installations and set-up.
- Support apprentice development and contribute to a culture of respect, integrity, trust, and excellence.
- Proven ability to work under own supervision or as part of a multi-technical team.
- Experience in electrical engineering and automation machinery.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems, analogue and digital IO, and other typical automation systems.
- Proficient with schematics and problem-solving.
- Sound IT skills and ability to read and understand technical and electrical schematics.
- ONC / BTEC / City and Guilds in a relevant electrical/mechatronic engineering discipline.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with installations of pneumatic/electro-pneumatic equipment.
- Understanding of EMC screening, earthing, and bonding for machinery.
- Basic PLC programming skills.
