About the Role

Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance and Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial, human resource, and operational aspects of our charity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure long-term financial sustainability and growth
  • Manage and lead the Finance and Operations team to achieve organizational goals
  • Provide financial reports and management accounts to the board of trustees, working closely with the treasurer to ensure accurate and timely information
  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning to maximize the use of financial resources towards achieving charitable objectives
  • Develop and implement systems to maximize efficiency and accuracy across the organization
Requirements
  • Significant experience in finance within the charity sector, in a similar role
  • Fully qualified accountant with excellent financial management skills
  • Strong IT skills, including knowledge of system integration and automation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interpret financial reports and communicate to non-experts in finance
