Job Title: Event Project Director

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Event Project Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of successful, high-profile events, managing compliance with health and safety and risk assessments, and expanding the portfolio of events.
Key Responsibilities- Event Coordination: Support the delivery of events with Royal attendance, manage VIP and guest lists, coordinate promotion and marketing of the event, and work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the events.
- Project Management: Work with the Special Events Manager to provide support to organisers of events (corporates and individuals) and respond to enquiries, attend committee meetings, take notes, and carry out related administration for international multi-activity events.
- Team Management: Manage team registration process, including processing invoices and following up on outstanding payments for team registrations, sponsorship, and team fundraising.
- Event Promotion: Set up the Just Giving pages, communicate with teams to encourage optimising fundraising potential, and update the events webpages as needed.
- Awards Management: Manage the nomination process for this annual awards event including producing data reports and timelines for judges.
- Marketing and Design: Contribute to the creation of promotional materials and design.
- Experience: Proven experience of coordinating the delivery of successful, high-profile events.
- Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office - in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience of using a database, strong interpersonal and networking skills, ability to ensure that colleagues and sponsors are kept informed and engaged at the appropriate level.
- Education: Relevant education or experience in event management, marketing, or a related field.
