Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Administrator to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Medical Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, providing administrative support to our healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional administrative support to our healthcare team, including reception, data management, and other tasks as required.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with NHS Scotland's data protection policies.
  • Manage and coordinate appointments, referrals, and other administrative tasks to ensure efficient practice operations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to improve practice efficiency and patient care.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
