Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive medical secretarial and administrative support to clinicians and other members of the multi-professional teams in NHS Lothian.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical documentation.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and other clinical activities.
- Develop and implement effective administrative systems and processes to support clinical teams.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
