Job Title: Academic Training Programme Director

The Academic Training Programme Director will play a key role in supporting the Head of School in the strategic development of the School of Medicine. This includes leading the development of the School's Recruitment and Retention Strategy and contributing to the School Operational Programme.

The post holder will be a member of the School Board and will work closely with the Head of School to:

  • Support the training and recruitment of Allergy and Immunology trainees.
  • Develop placements in the region to meet the curriculum needs of trainees.
  • Support local trainers in their development as trainers.
  • Deliver regional education programs for trainees and work with colleagues to unlock training opportunities.

The Academic Training Programme Director will also work with the Head of School to develop and implement a Medical Workforce Strategy that supports the recruitment and retention of Allergy and Immunology trainees, with a focus on regional education programs.
