Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Inverness district. As a key member of our Integrated Team, you will work with individuals in their own homes, leading on non-complex assessments and delivering targeted rehabilitation programs to maximize patient independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload to provide assessment, rehabilitation, onward referral, and discharge to a range of patients referred to the service.
  • Work within multi-professional teams to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations and patient residences.
Requirements
  • Professional guidance and day-to-day management will be provided through an Advanced Practice Occupational Therapist.
  • Regular supervision is provided, including peer supervision opportunities.
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development are encouraged.
  • A full current driving license and use of a vehicle are essential.
