Make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals by becoming a Support Practitioner with The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in our Kinmylies services.

We are currently offering Full-Time, Part-Time, and Bank contracts in and around the Kinmylies area, providing support across various services. You will be part of a team dedicated to assisting three adult males. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. We seek individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Role Responsibilities:

Your duties as a Support Practitioner may include:

  • Social Engagement - Supporting individuals in connecting with their communities by organizing and participating in outings to various recreational activities such as day centers, cinema, swimming, etc.
  • Personal Assistance - Aiding individuals in maintaining their health and wellbeing by promoting personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing, and scheduling visits to healthcare professionals.
  • Practical Assistance - Helping individuals sustain their living arrangements by encouraging daily household tasks such as general cleaning, laundry, cooking, and shopping.

All successful applicants for the Support Practitioner role will receive a conditional offer, subject to satisfactory references and PVG checks; having a conviction will not automatically disqualify you from working in this sector.

New staff members will be required to register with the SSSC within six months of their start date.
