About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in Inverness. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Assess and identify the needs of service users, and develop personalized support plans to meet those needs.
  • Provide emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare staff, social workers, and other support workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's values and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the principles of care and support, and the ability to apply them in a community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including data protection and confidentiality.
