Job Title: Technical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team in the Northeast London region. As a key member of our Waste Business, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sewer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the pre-requisites for complex jobs, including materials, permits, resources, and services.
  • Provide day-to-day contractor liaison and management, input into future planning and solutions, and technical support to the wider team.
  • Authorise works on the sewer and secure funding for rectification works as required.
  • Manage and organise contractors to carry out repairs and fault diagnosis on pumps and supporting equipment.
  • Review maintenance activities to ensure continuity and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing:

You will be responsible for ensuring the operational and maintenance standards of our largest and historic pumping stations are met. This will involve specifying and ordering materials, managing contractors, and reviewing maintenance activities.

This is a critical role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
